Thermogenics are more commonly referred to as ""fat burners"".

These supplements increase the body's adipose ❨fat❩ tissue metabolism by generating heat and increasing core body temperature ❨thermogenesis❩.

Most stimulate the central nervous system, particularly the products that contain compounds such as synephrine, caffeine, guarana and bitter melon.
