Is a vitamin like substance found in all parts of the body, the action of
which resembles that of vitamin E. It may be an even more powerful antioxidant. It is also called ubiquinone. There are ten common substances designated as coenzyme Q's but coenzyme Q10 is the only one found in human tissue.
This substance plays a critical role in the production of energy in every cell of the body.



Aids in circulation, stimulates immune system, increases oxygenation and has vital antiaging effects.

Deficiencies linked to periodontal disease, diabetes and muscular dystrophy. Supplemental coenzyme Q10 has the ability to counter histamine and therefore is a benefit for people with allergies, asthma or respiratory disease.
Studies have shown benefits for congestive heart failure. The amount of coenzyme Q10 present in the body declines with age, so it should be supplemented in the diet especially by people who are over the age of 50.
Sources: 
Mackerel, Salmon, and Sardines contain the largest amounts of coenzyme Q10. It is also found in beef, peanuts and spinach.
Comments:
Coenzyme Q10 is oil soluble and is best absorbed when taken with oily or fatty foods, such as fish.
Use Coenzyme in its purest form, its natural color is dark bright yellow to orange and it has very little taste in the powered form. It should be kept away from heat and light. Pure coenzyme is perishable and deteriorates at high temperatures.
Note: 
Vitamin E can be taken with coenzyme Q10 as it helps preserve it.
